The Department of Pharmaceutics is one of the key department of the institute and is equipped with high-tech facilities to take on research in drug delivery. The Pharmaceutics Department emphasis on both theoretical & practical aspects of fundamentals underlying the formulation & drug development and offers in all levels of pharmacy courses like Graduate, Masters and PhD Programs. Department is well equipped with Two undergraduate laboratories and One Postgraduate laboratory, One pilot plant Section along with specialized research center “The instrument lab".

Pharmaceutical chemistry is a discipline at the intersection of chemistry and pharmacology involved with design, synthesis and development of candidate drugs. Pharmaceutical chemistry involves the identification, synthesis and development of new chemical entities suitable for therapeutic use.

The department is equipped with Hi - Tech Laboratories i.e. Organic-chemistry synthesis labs, Research labs, and Instrument lab. All the labs are equipped with the modern research facilities, to tune the students with the current and future drug discovery scenario.

Department of Pharmacology has the facilities to perform pharmacological and toxicological screening of new chemical entities (NCEs). Computer knowledge became very essential part in the era of Information Technology; A Pharmacist must have the knowledge of computer beside the regular education. College has a spacious well functioning computer laboratory with LAN, Wifi, and Internet connectivity with speed of 100 mbps capable of conducting online classes in case of national emergencies using various digital and knowledge tools.
